When do you think of roasting, which vegetables would you instinctively put in? Do you like some roasted potatoes? This recipe of Keto potatoes will solve all your problems as you know that potatoes are not allowed on the keto diet as they contain too many carbohydrates and starchy materials to be considered strictly low carb.
For those of you who have never seen what a radish looks like, maybe you can try describing it. They are somewhat round with pink skin, which when cut in half have a taste similar to a water chestnut, or perhaps a baby onion.
- bacon (or tempeh bacon for plant-based)
- green onions
- ghee or avocado oil
- Add the oil to a large skillet over medium high heat. Add in the turnips and spices. Cook 5-7 minutes stirring occasionally.
- Add in the onion and cook 3 minutes until it starts to soften. Chop the bacon into small pieces and add to the skillet. Continue to cook another 5-7 minutes until the bacon is crispy.
- Top with green onion and parsley before serving.
